Ballot Question 2A (Extension of the Open Space and Trails Mill Levy)

I’m a firm supporter of Ballot Issue 2A. The 4 mill property tax Erie property owners have been paying has created a prized trail network in our community and protected several important natural areas. Continuation of the 4 mill levy will allow the Town of Erie to bring our trail network to near completion and protect additional natural areas important to Erie citizens.

It is important to note that tax revenue generated from extension of the mill levy will be overseen by a group of citizens who make recommendation to the Board of Trustees.
